"A warrant was issued for a 22-year-old Inkster woman today on charges stemming from her alleged negligence resulting in injuries suffered Saturday by an 18-month-old apparently ejected unnoticed from her car."

— It is alleged that the women was driving Saturday evening when the toddler, who allegedly wasn’t strapped into a child restraint seat, was somehow tossed from the vehicle at Beech Daly and Fox Street. WDIV TV 4 reported the girl may have been pushed from the vehicle by an older sibling and was later found wandering barefoot in the area. She was taken to a local hospital and treated for a non-life threatening head injury, according to Assistant Prosecutor Maria Miller.
