After the fashion show at the Somerset Collection in Troy, Tim Gunn shared behind-the-scenes tidbits from his hit show “Project Runway” including that he was disappointed with the judges’ picks this season including their choice of final winning designer Gretchen Jones. “Massive unforgivable control freak” is how Gunn described Jones. Though eventually warming to her, Gunn believed that pattern Mixmaster Mondo Guerra was more deserving of the big win.
Gunn is the chief creative officer for Liz Claiborne Inc., and the show featured fashions by Claiborne brands: Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, Lucky and Monet.
